Barambah Organics
Our story starts with Ian Campbell – our founder and passionate fourth-generation Queensland farmer. Ian’s family started farming in Queensland in the Burnett region way back in 1912.
Ian is a Rural Scientist, specialising in both animal and human nutrition. During the ’90s, Ian worked in the United Kingdom, South America, and Australia consulting on various farming practices.
In 2002, Ian started Barambah Organics after converting his family farm into a certified organic farm. That same year Barambah Organics shipped out its first bottles of full-flavoured organic milk to eight local stores and around fifty households in the region.
In 2006 Ian moved the family business to the Border River region of NSW and Queensland where water was abundant and the soil rich and fertile.
Since our humble beginnings in 2002, we’re proud to have become a loved award-winning Australian dairy brand to over 800 stores around Australia and overseas.
Our passion for making the best tasting dairy in the most sustainable way possible, means we’re always trying to improve how we do things. However, our purpose remains; to give you the best-tasting dairy, that’s good for you and good for all.
